Nursery Manager – Early Years Leader

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead Greenfields Nursery School, a well‑established early years setting in a beautiful countryside location. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, education and compliance while fostering a supportive environment for children, families and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the nursery team.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and the local community.
- Drive occupancy, performance and financial targets.
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
- Support staff wellbeing and professional development.
- Promote a positive, professional team culture.
Required profile
- Full Level 3 Childcare qualification.
- Previous experience managing a nursery.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven ability to lead early years teams.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality childcare and education.
