Nursery Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant early years setting in Godalming. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, stimulating environment that follows EYFS standards and supports the development of every child.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily management and operations of the nursery.
• Maintain high standards of care and education in line with EYFS guidelines.
• Lead, recruit, train and develop staff members.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members.
• Implement health and safety policies and ensure compliance.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency.
• Organise and participate in events and activities.

Required profile

• Level 3 CACHE or equivalent qualification in early years education.
• Proven experience as a room leader or manager within a nursery.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
