Nursery Nurse

About the role

Kindred Nurseries is looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse to join its Enfield location. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment, helping young children develop through play, learning and caring interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Support the Room Leader to uphold the highest standards of Early Years care and education.
• Engage positively with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Help create a homely atmosphere that feels like a “home from home” for every child.

Required profile

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (for qualified roles).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Positive, problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Level 2/3 childcare qualification.
• Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage standards.
• Current paediatric first‑aid certificate (desirable).
• Safeguarding and child protection training (desirable).
• Food hygiene certificate (desirable).
