Nursery Nurse

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a high‑quality independent day nursery in Hither Green. The role offers the chance to take on greater responsibility, support children’s development and work closely with families and the management team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support daily routines, activities and learning experiences.
- Plan engaging, development‑focused activities for children.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families.
- Carry out observations, assessments and planning to track progress.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Work closely with management to uphold high standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the nursery.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and wellbeing of all children.
Required profile
- Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential).
- Minimum two years’ experience in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
- Genuine passion for child development and high‑quality care.
- Confident, organised and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
