Nursery Nurse (Level 2/3) – Flexible Supply Work

About the role

We are seeking qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurses to join our flexible supply pool, providing essential support to nurseries across Sandwell and South Birmingham. This role offers a variety of shifts that can be matched to your personal schedule, whether you prefer full‑time, part‑time or occasional hours.

Key responsibilities

• Support children with daily routines, play, and learning activities.
• Deliver age‑appropriate, stimulating activities in line with EYFS standards.
• Assist with children’s care needs and monitor developmental progress.
• Carry out observations and record keeping alongside the nursery team.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential).
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties.
• Warm, friendly, enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts across multiple sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS framework.
• Ability to observe and document children’s development.
