About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our early years team in Harrow from September 2026. The role supports young children in a primary school environment, working closely with the class teacher to deliver a nurturing and stimulating setting aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS‑aligned activities.
- Provide high‑quality care and support to children aged 0‑5.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Observe and record children’s progress and share insights with staff.
- Support transitions and daily routines, including meals and outdoor play.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Nursery Nursing, or a related EYFS credential.
- Degree in Education (UK or overseas) is desirable.
- Passion for early childhood development and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Required skills
- Understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Basic record‑keeping and observation skills.
