Nursery Practitioner – Daily Supply (Waverley)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to provide daily supply cover across nurseries in the Waverley borough. This flexible position allows you to work full‑time or on a part‑time basis, fitting around your personal schedule while supporting early years development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver play‑based activities that promote learning, development and well‑being.
• Maintain a safe, fun and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, outdoor play and transitions.
• Support children’s social, emotional and communication skills.
• Undertake reasonable duties to ensure smooth operation of the classroom.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a nursery, school or childcare setting.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
• Friendly, proactive and flexible attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent) is desirable.
