Nursery Practitioner – Early Years Role in Romford

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a well‑established early years setting in Romford. You will work in one of three age‑specific rooms – baby, toddler or preschool – delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities that support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily activities that promote cognitive, social and physical development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children in the assigned room.
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the manager and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high‑quality, cohesive nursery programme.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred (Level 2 considered).
- Previous nursery or early years experience is essential.
- Passion for high‑quality childcare and education.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
