Nursery Practitioner

About the role

Join an Ofsted "Outstanding" nursery group in Islington and Camden as a Nursery Practitioner. You will work in a state‑of‑the‑art setting, delivering high‑quality early years care and education to children aged 0‑5.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care and support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Maintain a clean, organised environment and ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues and room leaders to achieve the nursery’s educational goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse (or higher).
• Relevant experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Successful enhanced DBS check.
• Commitment to the ethos of an "Outstanding" nursery.

Required skills

• Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
