About the role
We are looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join the Butlin’s team in Minehead. You will work alongside a supportive team to deliver a varied activity programme while ensuring a safe, caring environment for every child.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities, observing and recording child development regularly.
- Uphold clean and hygienic standards at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families and business matters.
- Support day‑to‑day care routines and assist children as needed.
Required profile
- Team‑player who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of both large and small teams.
- Capability to relate to a wide range of people.
Required skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with good knowledge of the EYFS.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 (advantage).
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (advantage).
