Nursery Practitioner – Level 2

About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive team at Footsteps Nursery in Stafford. This part‑time position (20 hours per week) offers flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in children’s early learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build trusted relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all children.
• Follow safeguarding policies and EYFS best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive atmosphere.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to early years education.
• Essential: Level 2 childcare qualification.
• Confident written and spoken English.
• Desirable: Experience in an Early Years setting and knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
