Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 Qualified)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Burnley nursery from September 2026. The role involves supporting children aged 0‑5 in a safe, stimulating environment while following the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development across all EYFS areas.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with observations, assessments and record‑keeping.
• Promote personal, social and emotional development of each child.

Required profile

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years/EYFS or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
