About the role
This position is for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a highly rated early years setting in Brighton. You will work across several locations, supporting children’s daily activities and development in a flexible, part‑time schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the day‑to‑day running of nursery classes.
- Support children’s learning, play and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment in line with Ofsted standards.
- Collaborate with fellow staff to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Child Care.
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a nursery, primary or pre‑prep setting.
- Clean enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certification.
Required skills
- Understanding of early childhood development.
- Ability to manage children’s behaviour positively.
