Nursery Practitioner Level 3 (Eastbourne)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join a vibrant early years setting in Eastbourne. The role involves delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5 years on a full‑time, 40‑hour weekly schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities that support physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Record children’s progress and development accurately.
• Collaborate with external professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 Child Care qualification (or higher).
• At least two years recent experience in a nursery, primary or pre‑prep setting.
• Clean enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• Flexible, enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for working with children.
• Good understanding of child development and behaviour management.
