Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at Chestnut House Kindergarten on a part‑time basis. The role covers 16 hours per week, typically on Thursday and Friday, within our operating hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and education, meeting each child’s individual needs in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Observe, assess and plan stimulating early‑years activities that support children’s learning and development.
• Collaborate with the team, showing flexibility and a willingness to acquire new skills.
• Apply and uphold company policies, conduct risk assessments and report health‑and‑safety matters.
• Promote the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of all children.

Required profile

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
• Fluent written and spoken English (essential).
• At least one year of experience in an Early Years setting (desirable).
