Nursery Practitioner – New Purpose‑Built Nursery in Balham

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a brand‑new, purpose‑built nursery in Balham. This is a unique chance to shape the culture, routines and environment of a growing early years setting from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and support engaging activities that promote children’s development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment.
• Promote children’s wellbeing and safeguard them at all times.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to high‑quality childcare.
