Nursery Quality Manager

About the role
Join Childbase Partnership as a Nursery Quality Manager at Knowle Green Day Nursery. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to uphold and enhance the quality of early years provision across a 133‑place setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining high standards of care and education.
- Lead by example, role‑modelling best practice and ensuring compliance with the EYFS and SEND Code of Practice.
- Mentor and develop staff, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Monitor and report on quality indicators, driving action plans to address any areas for development.
- Collaborate with the Head Office and Training Academy to implement training initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified early years professional with a DfE‑approved qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Currently employed in a senior early years role (e.g., Third‑in‑Charge, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager).
- Passionate about inspiring staff and delivering outstanding outcomes for children.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
