Nursery Room Leader

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to lead a nursery room in Chiswick. You will manage a small team, plan engaging activities and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of early years practitioners.
• Design and deliver a wide range of play‑based learning activities.
• Showcase the room to prospective parents and maintain strong relationships with families.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote child welfare.
• Support the delivery of the organisation’s ‘Learning through Play’ ethos.

Required profile

• NVQ/Cache Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years.
• Proven experience as a Room Leader in a nursery setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for early childhood education.
