Nursery Staff – Early Years Practitioner (Full/Part‑Time)

About the role
Academics is seeking qualified Nursery Staff to support a range of early years settings in Ellesmere Port. The role offers flexible full‑time, part‑time or contractor shifts, allowing you to balance work with other commitments while gaining experience across local nurseries.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0‑5.
- Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff members.
Required profile
- Level 3 early years qualification (Nursery Staff or Early Years Practitioner).
- Proven experience working with children under five.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or already on the update service).
Required skills
- Understanding of EYFS curriculum requirements.
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
- Commitment to maintaining health, safety and hygiene standards.
