About the role
The school in Castle Bromwich is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join its early years team from September/October. You will work within the nursery unit attached to a primary school, supporting children’s development and collaborating with teachers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Support the nursery nurse and lead teachers in daily classroom activities.
- Share workload with other teaching assistants and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification (CACHE, NVQ, NNEB, or a degree related to working with children).
- Experience working with Early Years pupils.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change.
- Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential.
