Nursery Worker – Bank Staff (Agency)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Worker to join our bank staff pool, providing flexible support to a private members' club nursery in New Fulham Stadium. The role involves caring for children aged 1 to 6 years in a play‑based environment, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while delivering high‑quality early years education.
Key responsibilities
- Support the nursery team by proactively assisting with daily activities and routines.
- Safeguard children, maintaining a secure and nurturing setting.
- Deliver play‑based learning experiences that promote development.
- Engage individually with children to meet their unique needs.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or at least one year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Passionate about children’s development and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 45 minutes from home and hold an up‑to‑date DBS check.
Required skills
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to use initiative and work autonomously.
