Nursing Community Manager (General)

About the role

As a Nursing Community Manager you will combine clinical expertise with strong leadership to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care for residents. Working closely with the General Manager, Deputy Manager and a multidisciplinary team, you will guide nurses and carers to deliver safe, compassionate services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of nurses and care staff.
• Oversee clinical care delivery, ensuring accurate care plans and safe medication management.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and quality frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across the community.
• Collaborate with senior management to align care objectives with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with revalidation.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical or social‑care setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical practice and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring and developing staff.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making and a commitment to person‑centred care.
