Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multi‑disciplinary team, working primarily in school settings with occasional clinic‑based and remote opportunities. You will help unlock the potential of children and young people by assessing their needs, delivering specialist interventions, and supporting therapy goals in everyday life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess children and young people’s developmental, learning and EHCP‑related needs.
• Deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions in school environments and, where appropriate, in clinics or remotely.
• Support therapy goals to integrate interventions into everyday activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and multi‑disciplinary professionals to design and review care plans.

Required profile

• Registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC or equivalent) with experience working with children and young people.
• Ability to work effectively in school settings and adapt interventions to educational contexts.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in supervision.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Permanent contract with full‑time (37.5 h/week) or part‑time options and a summer‑break contract.
• £5,000 retention bonus payable after 12 months of service.
