Occupational Therapist – Neurorehabilitation (Band 6/7)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist with a neurorehabilitation background to join our specialist team in Cambridgeshire. This full‑time, 8‑week fixed‑term position offers the chance to work hands‑on with complex neurological cases and shape a forward‑thinking service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury.
• Deliver goal‑focused rehabilitation interventions.
• Use standardised outcome measures to track and demonstrate progress.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to develop individual care plans.
• Contribute to the development of a specialist physiotherapy pathway.
• Utilise up‑to‑date technology and resources for high‑quality interventions.
• Support patients transitioning from acute hospital settings to community care.

Required profile

• Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent occupational therapist.
• Proven experience in neurorehabilitation.
• Motivation to develop clinically and influence service delivery.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care for complex neurological conditions.
