Occupational Therapist – Newly Qualified

About the role
Join a friendly multidisciplinary team at Acorn Park School, delivering specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils in an education setting. This permanent, term‑time role offers flexibility for newly qualified therapists looking to develop their clinical expertise while supporting pupils to achieve independence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide OT assessments and tailored intervention plans for pupils.
- Collaborate with education staff and other clinicians to create inclusive learning environments.
- Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and regular OT network training sessions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews.
Required profile
- Qualified Occupational Therapist, newly qualified or within the first few years of practice.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality, child‑centred therapy in a school setting.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary up to £53,200 FTE, dependent on experience.
- £2,000 training allowance after probation for role‑specific CPD.
