Occupational Therapist – Term‑time role in Ulverston

About the role
We are seeking a passionate HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist to join a specialist college in Ulverston. You will support young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, helping them build independence and confidence for adulthood.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of young adults with complex needs.
- Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments and deliver tailored interventions.
- Promote independence in daily living, education and self‑care.
- Assess and recommend specialist equipment and sensory strategies.
- Train and support education and care teams.
- Collaborate with families, colleagues and external professionals.
Required profile
- BSc in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
- Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Knowledge of sensory integration principles.
- Proactive, collaborative and person‑centred approach.
