Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner – Primary Care (Band 4)

About the role

We are looking for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join the Primary Care Occupational Therapy Service at Linkwood and Maryhill GP practices in Elgin. Working under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists, you will help deliver person‑centred care to patients within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and adapt treatment plans and interventions prescribed by an Occupational Therapist.
• Support patients to maximise independence and adopt effective self‑management strategies.
• Promote health and wellbeing through targeted therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Primary Care team.
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a hospital, community or care setting.
• Willingness to undertake further training in occupational therapy practice.
• Ability to work within a dynamic, supportive multidisciplinary environment.
