Ocean & Air Export Coordinator – Heathrow

About the role

This position is based near Heathrow and focuses on coordinating ocean export shipments, with occasional involvement in air freight. You will work within a fast‑paced international freight forwarding team, handling shipments from booking to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean export shipments, including Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) movements.
• Support air export shipments when required.
• Arrange bookings with carriers, airlines and transport providers.
• Prepare and process all export documentation.
• Track shipments to their final destination and provide customers with updates.
• Liaise with overseas agents, customers, hauliers and shipping lines to resolve operational issues.
• Enter billing and operational data accurately.
• Assist with freight quotations and routing solutions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in freight forwarding exports.
• Strong knowledge of ocean export procedures; air export experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of export shipping documentation and procedures.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
