About the role
We are seeking an Office Manager / Executive Assistant to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our London Canary Wharf office while providing high‑level support to senior leadership, including the EVP of Newsweek International. This fast‑paced role requires strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the diary and inbox of senior executives, arranging appointments and meetings.
- Book travel, accommodation, restaurant reservations and client entertainment.
- Meet and greet visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Liaise with office staff across locations, including the US.
- Screen phone calls and handle general inquiries.
- Produce documents, briefing papers and PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide reception cover as needed.
- Handle ad‑hoc requests from senior executives.
Required profile
- Living within a reasonable commuting distance to the London office.
- Relevant experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Initiative, creativity and professional communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information correctly.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
