Offload Controller – Engineering Test Equipment

About the role

The Offload Controller will support engineering test equipment operations on a long‑term contract basis in Stevenage. After an initial settling‑in period, the role requires 2‑3 days per week on‑site, collaborating with multiple internal functions and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate off‑loading activities and ensure smooth hand‑over between engineering, manufacturing, procurement and logistics.
• Maintain accurate data records and produce KPI reports for performance monitoring.
• Document processes and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage quality and non‑conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Support planning and scheduling activities across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience using SAP in a manufacturing, logistics or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong planning, scheduling and coordination capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality and logistics functions.
• Experience maintaining accurate data, KPI reporting and handling quality/non‑conformance management.
• Organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Continuous‑improvement orientation and experience documenting processes.
