On-site Recruitment Consultant – High Volume Hiring

About the role

Nexus People is seeking an on‑site Recruitment Consultant to join their busy client site in Hoddesdon. You will work night shifts (18:00‑02:00, Sunday‑Thursday) handling the full recruitment lifecycle for temporary, high‑volume positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from attracting candidates to onboarding.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and maintain a robust talent pool.
• Conduct compliance and reference checks in line with company policy.
• Monitor local market trends, pay rates and candidate activity.
• Produce supply reports as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as an on‑site consultant in temporary recruitment.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume hiring and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to be on‑call when needed.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on personal and professional development.

Required skills

• Good IT and computer literacy.
