Online Elementary School Teacher (ESL) – 1:1 Tutoring

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced elementary‑school teachers to deliver one‑on‑one online ESL lessons to students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work remotely from the UK, setting your own schedule while committing to a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction aligned with the Cosmo curriculum.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app promptly.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials for each student.
• Submit class feedback after every lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Commitment to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability between 8 AM‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT (weekends).
• Private, quiet workspace.
• Current residence in the United Kingdom.
