Online Manager

About the role

Morrisons is looking for an enthusiastic Online Manager to lead a high‑performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence across our online channels. You will be responsible for driving performance, coaching staff, and ensuring the department meets its targets.

Key responsibilities

• Empower colleagues to put the customer first and deliver outstanding service.
• Review customer feedback and act on insights to improve the online experience.
• Maintain market‑leading product availability across the department.
• Manage scheduling, absence, performance reviews and talent conversations.
• Deliver training to build capability and confidence within the team.
• Identify and develop talent, building strong relationships with other operating departments.
• Lead the department to achieve all relevant performance targets.
• Plan resources thoroughly and ensure efficient use of budgets, including shrinkage and waste.

Required profile

• Strong communicator who shares knowledge and best practices.
• Confident manager with the ability to lead through change.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with stakeholders across the store.
• Ability to have difficult conversations and resolve issues effectively.
• Food safety awareness appropriate to the department.
