Online Manager

About the role

As an Online Manager you will lead the day‑to‑day running of Asda’s online operation in the Yeovil store. You’ll keep the team motivated, ensure vans are on the road and customers receive a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop‑floor, meeting availability standards and key performance metrics.
• Drive the online shrink agenda using structured processes and data‑led decisions.
• Validate picker and driver resources through effective rota planning.
• Lead, coach and develop the team to improve picking accuracy and overall service quality.
• React to customer feedback, conduct audits and implement action plans to enhance the online offering.

Required profile

• Experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a complex online retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of online retail, including availability, picking rate, waste reduction and shrink management.
• Proven ability to develop teams, manage change and build resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
