Online Trading Executive

About the role

As an Online Trading Executive at Protein Works you will be the primary voice on how the e‑commerce site is performing each day. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work across the UK, Ireland, France and Germany, turning data into actionable insight and helping drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build daily and weekly trading reports for all four markets, tracking revenue, conversion and average order value against targets.
• Support the planning and execution of the promotional calendar, from offer mechanics to live launch.
• Merchandise the website – homepage, category pages, search, cross‑sell and upsell – to improve conversion.
• Assist new product launches, ensuring content, pricing and merchandising are ready on day one.
• Help grow the Subscribe & Save programme through smarter offers and retention‑focused trading.
• Use trading and stock data to identify pricing, margin and inventory risks early.

Required profile

• A genuine strength with numbers and data, able to extract stories from spreadsheets or dashboards.
• A maths, statistics or similarly numerate degree is ideal, though a demonstrable head for figures is most important.
• No prior e‑commerce or trading experience required – training will be provided.

• Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet tools)
