About the role

Reeson Education is seeking an enthusiastic Online Tutor to deliver high‑quality virtual tuition to learners across core curriculum subjects. The role involves one‑to‑one or small‑group sessions, helping students close learning gaps, improve attainment, and build confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging online lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
• Identify learning gaps and apply effective teaching strategies to boost progress and exam readiness.
• Build positive relationships with students, encouraging motivation and active participation.
• Assess, track, and record student progress, adapting lesson plans as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals to support educational outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse online learning styles.
• Patient, supportive, and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
