Online Tutor – Virtual Tuition for Students

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Online Tutor to deliver high‑quality virtual tuition to learners from September 2026. You will work one‑to‑one or with small groups, helping students close learning gaps, improve attainment and build confidence across core curriculum subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging one‑to‑one and small‑group online lessons tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Identify learning gaps and apply effective teaching strategies to boost progress and exam readiness.
• Build positive relationships with students, encouraging motivation, confidence and active participation.
• Assess, track and record student progress, adapting lesson plans as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents, carers, schools and other professionals to support educational outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles in an online environment.
• Patient, supportive and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.
