Onsite Event Technician – Audio Visual

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Onsite Event Technician to provide technical coordination and support for a variety of events, including auditorium presentations, hybrid meetings, and remote sessions. You will work closely with internal teams, external clients, and vendors to ensure flawless delivery of each event.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate event schedules with clients and vendors and attend pre‑production meetings.
• Set up, operate, and manage integrated AV spaces for high‑profile presentations and town halls.
• Provide white‑glove service, handling technical logistics alongside facilities and catering.
• Develop work‑arounds for equipment failures and manage AV rentals and staging requirements.
• Prepare equipment for future events and maintain post‑event reporting to drive improvements.
• Offer AV support to other business areas as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of corporate AV experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Professional, presentable demeanor when interacting with senior executives.
• Strong communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Customer‑focused with a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Audio‑Visual systems knowledge.
• Experience with event audio, video and lighting equipment (digital and analogue).
• Ability to set up and operate integrated AV event spaces.
• Familiarity with AV rentals and staging requirements.
