Onsite Recruiter – High‑Volume Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Onsite Recruiter to support the launch and growth of a major manufacturing operation in Axbridge, Somerset. Working on‑site five days a week, you will act as the bridge between operational teams, candidates and the wider recruitment function to ensure hiring demands are met efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activity for high‑volume operational vacancies.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new hires.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing teams to achieve delivery targets.
• Support workforce planning and recruitment forecasting.
• Serve as the first point of contact for candidates and on‑site stakeholders.
• Monitor workforce activity and provide operational updates.
• Assist with mobilisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial recruitment, preferably in high‑volume environments.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Desirable: previous on‑site recruitment experience within manufacturing, warehouse or workforce management.
