Operational Risk Manager

About the role

Join a purpose‑driven organisation renowned for its work in the healthcare sector. As an Operational Risk Manager you will sit within the Governance team, partnering with senior stakeholders to embed a robust operational risk framework across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor and report operational risks in collaboration with business units.
• Lead the rollout and adoption of a new Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform, ensuring data quality and integration with day‑to‑day processes.
• Develop and maintain key risk indicators, conduct gap analyses and produce risk‑focused insights for senior leadership.
• Prepare and present risk reports and presentations for governance committees and executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a risk management environment, preferably within financial services, insurance, healthcare or another regulated sector.
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., IRM, CII) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
