Operations Analyst – Alternatives

About the role

We are looking for two Operations Analysts – Alternatives to join our award‑winning team in Leeds. The role supports the oversight and governance of third‑party service providers and ensures accurate fund performance reporting for our pension assets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate back‑office and middle‑office projects.
• Perform daily oversight of fund performance and ensure accurate custodian and administrator reporting.
• Reconcile portfolio positions, identify breaks and resolve them.
• Handle corporate actions reconciliation and raise queries where needed.
• Monitor daily capital calls and distributions, ensuring accuracy and escalation of issues.
• Review valuations and confirm they are correctly recorded in internal books.
• Manage settled and forecast cash balances, raising adjustments as required.
• Provide first‑line compliance reporting and monitoring.
• Assist senior analysts with back‑office reporting and produce management information for the Investment Committee.
• Identify and report operational risks to management.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Good knowledge of financial instruments and asset‑management processes.
• Understanding of GP/LP structures, capital calls, distributions and LP valuations.
