Operations Associate

About the role

Plinth builds software for charities, foundations and funders. The Operations Associate will own recruitment operations, contracts and invoicing, and support the ISO 27001 certification process, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day administration as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment pipeline: keep tools current, schedule interviews, screen CVs and coordinate with team leads.
• Handle contracts and invoicing end‑to‑end, ensuring documents are signed, filed and payments processed.
• Administer security certification tasks, maintaining the ISO 27001 calendar, evidence and paperwork.
• Respond to security questionnaires, building a reusable answer bank to accelerate responses.
• Automate repetitive processes by creating templates, workflows and AI‑driven solutions.
• Expand the operations function as the team grows, taking on new responsibilities you demonstrate competence in.

Required profile

• Natural organiser who can juggle multiple moving parts without anything slipping.
• Comfortable tackling unfamiliar tasks, seeking feedback and improving iteratively.
• Experience in similar roles such as EA, team assistant, ops coordinator, office or practice manager.
• Meticulous attention to detail; no interviews, invoices or reviews are missed.
• Clear, concise writing for candidates, customers and legal partners.
• High discretion handling salary data, contracts and personal information.
• Proficient use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) for drafting, summarising and workflow creation.
