Operations Controller NPD & Ops Excellence

About the role

The Operations Controller NPD & Ops Excellence will join the Finance Operational Analysis team, providing dedicated financial support to manufacturing, production, R&D and marketing functions. Based in Glasgow with a hybrid working model, the role reports to the Finance Business Partner – Portfolio COGS & Ops Excellence and works closely with senior executives across Pernod Ricard.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights for New Product Development (NPD) and operational improvement initiatives.
• Identify, track and report cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency gains across NPD projects.
• Coordinate key financial processes, including data collection, validation and monthly actuals reporting.
• Partner with the Packaging Development Team to support budget management, structure and project financing.
• Assist the Business Partner in developing NPD business cases.
• Lead the annual standard costing process for CBL and integrate IDL analysis for consolidation.
• Manage COGS forecasting and reporting in line with HQ guidelines.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management and HQ stakeholders.
