Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our fast‑paced logistics team in Portsmouth. You will act as the central hub for daily operational activities, ensuring that jobs, bookings and customer requests move smoothly from enquiry to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage jobs, bookings and service requests using internal systems.
• Coordinate operational activities from enquiry through to completion.
• Communicate daily with customers, drivers and internal teams.
• Update records and maintain accurate operational data.
• Support driver scheduling and monitor job progress.
• Arrange vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs as required.
• Resolve issues quickly to maintain service levels.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Operations, Transport, Logistics, Scheduler, Planner or Administrative role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer‑focused communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to support the team.
