Operations Coordinator – Logistics

About the role

Freightserve is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join its busy freight team in Woking. The role focuses on hands‑on execution of shipment planning, scheduling and communication to ensure a controlled, high‑quality service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments, demo movements and returns.
• Provide customers with timely updates on shipment status.
• Maintain full visibility and control across all movements.
• Support planning and coordination of collections and deliveries.
• Assist with scheduling jobs and create/manage bookings in internal systems.
• Maintain accurate records and follow defined operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with transport providers and support the Operational Account Lead and senior team members.

Required profile

• Ability to handle daily shipment coordination and customer communication.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and support senior operational staff.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday on‑site in Woking.
