Operations Coordinator – Maintenance & Small Works

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join DC Space & Storage Solutions in Exeter. The role will act as the operational hub, overseeing reactive and planned maintenance, small‑works projects and ensuring seamless delivery for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and small‑works jobs from receipt to completion.
• Schedule engineers, subcontractors and resources, managing multiple live jobs simultaneously.
• Serve as the central point of contact between customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, the sales team and senior management.
• Ensure jobs are delivered on time, within scope and to customer expectations.
• Manage procurement activities, raise purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Handle customer and supplier enquiries, updates and complaints efficiently.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Operations, Maintenance or Service Coordinator or a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage several live jobs in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with the capacity to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with business systems (e.g., SimPRO, Xero is desirable).
