Operations Manager – Care & Nursing Homes

About the role

Agincare is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of care and nursing homes across Buckinghamshire. You will provide strategic guidance and day‑to‑day oversight to Registered Managers, ensuring safe, person‑centred care that exceeds regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and empower Registered Managers across multiple sites.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding protocols and statutory obligations.
• Develop and execute recruitment, retention and workforce development strategies.
• Manage escalated concerns, including complaints and safeguarding issues.
• Monitor operational performance using audits, KPIs and structured service reviews.

Required profile

• Multi‑site senior management experience within care homes.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks.
• Hands‑on approach to team and service development.
• Strategic thinking with a passion for high standards of care.
