Operations Manager – Career Progression to Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a fast‑growing specialist building contractor in the South West. The role offers a clear succession path to an Operations Director position within five years, allowing you to shape the company’s future growth while leading a team of project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the current Operations Director to design and implement new processes that support scaling.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of project managers delivering facilities maintenance, roofing, refurbishment and other construction projects.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all service areas.
• Ensure projects meet high quality standards, budgets and timelines.
• Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or project management within construction, building services or facilities maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work on‑site across Bristol and surrounding areas.
