Operations Manager – Legal Credit Team

About the role

Our client, a leading law firm in Liverpool city centre, is looking for an Operations Manager to lead its Pre‑Litigation Credit Hire team. Reporting to the Directors, you will shape growth strategy, nurture relationships with insurance and solicitor partners, and ensure a seamless client‑care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior managers to design and deliver training programmes.
• Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and develop relationships with insurer and solicitor partners, leading settlement negotiations.
• Mentor junior staff, conduct performance reviews and provide technical training.
• Oversee critical deadlines to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate cases and produce case plans to progress matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in motor liability and credit‑hire claims within a legal environment.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and case management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple workloads.
