About the role
Wolseley is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its night‑shift fulfilment centre in Darlington. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient warehouse environment while supporting the wider distribution network.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the general health and safety of the fulfilment centre.
- Oversee warehouse management and planning activities.
- Lead, mentor and develop the warehouse team.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Previous Operations Management experience in a relevant industry.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Strong people‑management skills, with a focus on mentoring.
- Ability to work night shifts, Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
